The Association Famille Baboutcheu-Ngaleu du Canada (AFBNC) proudly participated in the recent Black History Performance, an event organized by Bamileke Community of Calgary (BCC). This special gathering was part of the broader celebration of Black History Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the history, achievements, and vibrant cultural contributions of Black communities. Through captivating performances and presentations, AFBNC members contributed to highlighting the richness of Cameroonian traditions and the broader African heritage. Traditional dances and cultural showcases were presented, offering attendees an authentic and lively experience that honored the legacy of Black communities. The event served as both a celebration and an educational platform, emphasizing the importance of preserving Black history and culture for future generations. AFBNC’s participation reflected its commitment to cultural pride, community unity, and promoting the significant role Black communities play within the larger societal fabric. AFBNC is honored to have taken part in this important celebration and extends its gratitude to BCC for organizing such a meaningful event.
