The Baboutcheu-Ngaleu Family Association of Canada (BNFAC / AFBNC) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we protect it, in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can answer you.
- Donations: your name, email address, mailing address (when needed for a receipt) and the amount of your gift. Card payments, when available, are processed by our payment provider; we never store your card number.
- Event registration and membership: the information you choose to give us so we can organize events and keep members informed.
- Website usage: basic technical data (browser, pages visited) collected through cookies and analytics tools to improve the site.
How we use your information
We use your information only to answer your requests, process and acknowledge donations, organize our activities and communicate with our members. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Third-party services
This website relies on a few trusted services that may process data on our behalf: our web host, our donation platform and payment provider, Google Analytics (website statistics) and Google Translate (page translation). These providers have their own privacy policies.
